  • How to Clean an Electronic Bidet

Cleaning your electronic bidet regularly can keep your precious bidet running smoothly and your rear area free of germs and "particles." Thankfully, cleaning a bidet is no more difficult than cleaning the rest of your toilet.

While some electronic bidets come with self-cleaning nozzles, most bidet attachments require occasional cleaning. Make up a soapy water solution in a small bowl – a 1:1 solution of water and white vinegar works well too. Dampen a rag, paper towel, or brush with the solution and remove any debris. Wipe the nozzle with a dry rag to remove any residue.

It’s also a good idea to clean your filter every few months. The filter is the part that connects the hose to the toilet water shutoff valve. If it is never cleaned, it can become clogged with minerals and sediment, preventing the bidet from functioning properly. Start by turning off the water shutoff valve and flushing the toilet to remove any remaining water from the system. Next, unscrew the water line nut and use a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove any debris from the filter. After cleaning, reattach the hose and open the water shutoff valve.

Lastly, clean the electronic bidet. Unplug the bidet to clean the bidet body. (You will need to plug it back in when cleaning the nozzles.) Remember not to use harsh chemicals on the bidet seat (or nozzle). Hot water and a rag usually do the trick. Never spray bathroom cleaner directly into the nozzle or onto the bidet seat as this may damage the nozzle.

  • The Role of Smart Toilets in Improving Public Health and Hygiene

In an age where technology is seamlessly integrated into every aspect of our lives, the word “smart” has taken on a new meaning, representing the ultimate in innovation and efficiency! It’s clear that technology is transforming our environments and enriching our personal and professional interactions. One of the most exciting areas of this change is the bathroom. Enter the world of smart toilets and innovative bathroom fixtures that not only provide convenience but also redefine public hygiene and sanitation. By merging cutting-edge features with basic functions, smart toilets are raising hygiene standards and addressing health concerns for the general public.

First, smart toilets reduce the spread of germs through touchless functionality. The smart toilet has a built-in bidet function for gentle cleaning, temperature-controlled drying for added comfort, and a deodorizing function to keep the bathroom environment smelling fresh. These features make it easy for users to maintain high levels of cleanliness, ensuring hygiene is always a top priority. Smart public restrooms address a long-standing concern among the public: many public restrooms are in poor sanitary conditions. These high-tech toilets come with automatic cleaning systems, UV disinfection capabilities, and real-time monitoring to maintain a clean environment at all times. They even eliminate the labor required for frequent cleaning, ensuring public restrooms are always clean and germ-free. By creating a cleaner environment, these toilets reduce the risk of disease transmission in high-traffic areas. Smart toilets also promote sustainable development. Features such as the water-saving dual flush system and energy-saving heating and drying help reduce water and energy use.
